Dawn Fallon

Music

Sheet Music-The Red BalloonMy first love is classical piano music - particularly Bach and Chopin who were the two composers I studied the most. My work as a hotel pianist however has broadened my repertoire and includes many jazz standards, love songs, pop ballads plus contemporary pianist music by Einaudi, Yiruma and Phamie Gow.

I have recorded some of my pieces which are on my YouTube channel my YouTube channel - including my own piano arrangement of The Red Balloon by Raymond Froggatt, who is my cousin (he was my father’s nephew).

I sang 2nd Soprano in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Chorus for ten years before I moved to Devon in 1994, and then I sang 2nd Soprano in The Torbay Singers for many years.  I now sing 1st Tenor in West Devon Chorale.

For five years (2016-2021)  I was the Organist at Churston Church, Devon.  It was a very fulfilling experience working with the choristers and playing the very lovely little organ.

  • Dawn Fallon is one of the most talented writers I've read. She has taken what could have been a very pedestrian account of this occupation and crafted an entertaining, page-turning action packed read.
